New Turf at Redemption Square’s Lawn

Freshly installed artificial turf at Redemption Square.

Returfing Redemption Square’s Lawn

Redemption Square hosts hundreds of events year round. From weekly fitness classes., to bingo on the lawn, farmer’s markets, and concerts. This amount of heavy foot traffic takes a toll on our lawn. Having a lawn that is free of mud, pot holes, and random debris is important not only for the quality of each event, but for the safety of guests who attend. That is why the lawn over at Redemption Square has been recently redone with all new artificial turf. This turf will assure every event that happens at Redemption Square’s lawn will be a quality one for all to enjoy.

Why Artificial Turf?

The lawn previously had Zoysia grass which was tough to keep alive with all the activities on the lawn happening ever week. Overtime, dead spots would start to emerge and after heavy rainstorms, water would start to pool around the base of the lawn’s stage. The new artificial turf will help keep the lawn looking nice year round, even with daily use of events and activities. Additionally, the artificial turf will drain much quicker into the subterranean drains versus real grass.

The new lawn has been graded and about 175 feet of French drains have been added to help with drainage. The new lawn will be the foundation of future events that bring the community together, including outdoor gatherings, family picnics, and seasonal celebrations, creating a vibrant and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

will capitalize the lawn for fun actives and will deliver for Redemption Square. Guests no longer have to worry about water, dead spots on the lawn, and water pooling up.

This will truly enhance the overall experience at Redemption Square!
