Introducing The Bike Room

Construction of the Bike Room for 250 Assay Street at Redemption Square is underway! This will help employees of 250 Assay St. explore Generation Parks trail network system, The Ray, a 4-mile looping pedestrian superhighway that will link every district within Generation Park in a safe and convenient way.

What is the Bike Room?

The new facility offers a secure and convenient method to store your bicycles and personal belongings for the employees at 250 Assay St. It empowers them to explore the dynamic landscape of Generation Park and the surrounding areas. Heading to HTX Surf Park? Grab your bike and go! Want to try that new restaurant for lunch? Hop on your bike and go for it!

Equipped with locker rooms and showers, The Bike Room is your one-stop shop for escaping the office and returning refreshed. The facility allows employees to work out, explore Generation Park’s trails, and store their belongings, all while providing a space to freshen up and motivating them to get out and explore!

 

How Long will Construction Take?

Construction of The Bike Room will take roughly 5-weeks to completion and includes installation of lockers and shower rooms, automatic doors, bike racks, plumbing, and lighting, just to name a few. The walls of The Bike Room will be wrapped with graphics inspiring adventure and exploration of the nearby trails and will allow those to view routes for their next adventure!
