The Center for Biotechnology will open at San Jacinto College’s Generation Park campus in the first quarter of 2025. The Center for Biotechnology is the exclusive provider of NIBRT-licensed training in the southern part of the United States. The new training program, operated to NIBRT’s quality standards globally trusted by pharmaceutical industry leaders, will offer regional biopharmaceutical training for new hires quickly, safely, and for a lower cost.

This state-of-the-art facility will provide comprehensive, hands-on training with realistic good manufacturing practices (GMP) simulated environments. The Center will offer an associate of applied science degree in biomanufacturing technology, and shorter credentials for post-graduates, to meet workforce needs.
