Houston Museum of Natural Science
Being within a 30 min drive from Generation Park, we had to go and visit one of Houston’s finest museums around. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is designed to bring history to life! Both for the young, and the young at heart, The Houston Museum of Natural Science has a bit of magic for everyone.
The museum offers multiple things to do, from the Cockrell Butterfly Exhibit, the Burke Baker Planetarium, a giant screen theater, to both special and permanent exhibits.
Exhibits can be found on 4 floors and one lower level. Exhibits range from read and go to full hands on interaction. The museum offers free admission on Thursdays starting at 2pm. Be sure to visit their website to stay up to date with their hours of operation.
